Welcome to THE TREKKERS’ SOCIETY, a company established to provide you with a reliable and affordable service that you can depend upon. Over the years we have gained valuable knowledge in organizing and tailoring tours to the majority of regions in Nepal and Tibet. We also have and maintain well established networks in the Kingdom of Bhutan and the areas of Sikkim and Darjeeling in India. The focus of our tours is participation and our formula is a simple one……We believe the more personal investment the more valuable the experience, be that on a high pass in the Nepal Himalaya or at a Monastery in Kathmandu. Jitendra Basnet (Jeet)

Mr. Jitendra Basnet (Jeet) has more than 17 years experience in the trekking and tour business throughout the region in Nepal, India, Bhutan & Tibet. Before becoming the founder of “The Trekkers’ Society”, he worked with a large reputed organization in Kathmandu for 6 years, eventually holding down the responsibility of “Tour Organizer” handling many groups from all over the world.
He has maintained intimate relation with Tibet exploring individually to the major regions of Tibet and organizing the tours with wide array since decade dedicating excellent services and so represents himself as Tibet specialist in this Tourism Industry.
Gaurav Kataria

Gaurav’s best introduction would be – ‘a rebel with a cause’. Since his early youth, he has a strong social consciousness. His self motivation to do something meaningful led him to start NGO called Tiger’s Door with the aim of spreading awareness among the young generation about the importance of Tiger conservation. | With time,he realized that tourism can be very good way to protect our mountains, jungles and fauna.
Travelling extensively to the remotest parts of India, he has led the life of a nomad and is self taught expert on travel arrangements. He has the exposure to all kinds of travels, be it the most basic way of hitch hiking to five star luxury travels. He is gifted with the conviction and charisma to convert people to his cause, who come in his contact. Being amateur photographer and film maker are another few of his attributes.
Prachanda Manandhar
Designation: Tour Manager

Mr. Prachanda Manandhar has been involved in the hospitality industry since 2002. In and from his initial capacity as a Tour Officer to this stage as Tour Manager, has been able to effectively and smoothly manage the customized tours and adventure activities in Nepal, Tibet & Bhutan for thousands of clients, to their gratification. He also has a working experience of the Hotel & Resorts trade in Nepal having served as a Sales Executive and proven duly himself in this sector of the Hospitality industry.
His holistic and creative approach to all the different duties in the Hospitality trade has earned himself a good reputation, which is commendable, for someone as young as himself.
Rashmi Adhikari
Designation: Senior Executive

Birthplace: Kathmandu
Ms. Rashmi Adhikari has been working in this tourism field since 2006.
As so far from her initial experience, she has worked arduously and shown a great capacity for creative work gaining considerable skills of tour management and administration. She is looking after correspondence and administration as a “Senior Executive” dedicating with her outstanding performance. During this period of engagement in tourism hospitality, she has been extending her knowledge with wide range to endeavour the best.
She has proven herself as proficient personnel executing the various tours and adventure packages meeting the clients’ requirement and receiving the warmest appreciations.
